God of War: Ascension Multiplayer beta begins today for PS Plus
Break out the big chairs and put on your gaming gloves.
Aaron Kaufman Santa Monica Studio Community Strategist has finally announced the start of the God of War Multiplayer Beta for PlayStation Plus members as of today.
With PlayStation Plus members always getting betas before we do it is not a surprise that it was not released for the public first. If you have the God of War: Saga Collection with a 30-day plus membership promo code on it, now would be a great time to redeem it.
The Multiplayer Beta consists of:
- Two God Allegiances, (Zeus and Ares (2 of 4 that will be released in the full game))
- 3 game modes, (8-player Team Favor of the Gods or Capture the Flag and a 4-player Free For All)
- 2 Maps for the Favor of the Gods mode, (Desert of Lost Souls (larger map) & Forum of Hercules (arena map)
- A large and varied amount of weapons, magic, armors, relics and God items.
- VoIP
- Level 30 (Level cap)
Some features that are not in the beta will be:
- God Allegiances Hades and Poseidon
- Third In-Game Weapon Class
- More maps from signature God of War locations
- Ability to customize your Warrior as you unlock items
- Teams (Clan like)
- A 4th multiplayer mode
A lot of work has gone into this game and we expect to get a lot out. Hope onto PSN and start downloading PlayStation Plus Members this is something you may not want to miss out on.
