PlayStation Plus May Preview

The Instant Game Collection continues to be strong in next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup. A brand new PS4 game, three PS3 games and two PS Vita games. Most of the free games this month are 2D games, such as the side-scrolling Stick it to the Man! for PS4, Limbo and Puppeteer for PS3, or the 2D fighting game Skullgirls Encore. Surge Deluxe, a former PlayStation Mobile title is available for Vita, and Pro Evolution Soccer 14 for PS3 round out the new month of content.

Stick it to the Man! (PS4): As main character Ray, you wake up one day after an accident with a massive pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain. This new arm will allow you to change the world, which happens to be made out of paper and stickers.

Puppeteer (PS3): Set as a magical play production starring puppets, Kutaro loses his head, and stumbles upon a magical pair of scissors that he will need to help find his missing noggin. This journey takes you to many different settings and there are many secrets to uncover.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (PS3): Powered by the new FOX Engine, PES 14 showcases new player animations and team-mate AI including an all new physics engine that leaves you more immersed and invested in its gameplay.

Skullgirls Encore (PS3): Encore is an updated version of the original Skullgirls that released in 2012. Encore includes new fighting systems, balance tweaks, stages, music and more.

Surge Deluxe (PS Vita): Humanity has discovered a new source of electricity, and with it, you need to keep its power levels in check by matching colored blocks, and routing electrical surges.

Limbo (PS Vita): With the only description of the game being “Uncertain of his sister’s fate, a boy enters limbo.”, a mysterious boy ventures through a dark world solving puzzles trying to uncover what happened to his sister.

Limbo and Puppeteer are personal recommendations that you should absolutely download and try. What do you guys think of next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup? Let us know in the comments.
