The Last of Us Single Player DLC Releases on Valentine’s Day
Behold! The day of love is also the day of awesome. Naughty Dog has announced the release date for The Last of Us: Left Behind Single Player DLC.
Releasing on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC will be available for $14.99. If you already have the season pass you’re good to go. If you haven’t purchased The Last of Us Season Pass, it’s only $19.99 and includes the already released Abandoned Territories map pack as well as downloadable content for your multiplayer characters (hats, masks, etc.).
Not too much is known about the Left Behind DLC other than it is a precursor to the events of the game, when Ellie is younger. The introduction of a new character, Riley, is Ellie’s best friend. While I can only speculate, I imagine this DLC will lead up to the events prior to Ellie meeting up with the Fireflies in the game. Click here for Naughty Dog’s Release Video on the DLC.
In the wake of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One releases, and all the other games that have arrived since the release of The Last of Us, this will be a huge boost for Naughty Dog. This single player DLC will no doubt pack as much of a punch as the game did, and should keep us occupied while we wait for more news on Uncharted PS4.
What do you think? Will you be picking up this DLC when it releases? Let us know in the comments what you think the DLC story will be about.
